The Faculty of Management and Information Science has two departments: the Department of Management and Information Science, and the Department of Media and Information Systems. We aim to develop human resources with the practical ability to quickly sense and respond to trends in society, economics and technology--as they change at a dizzying pace.

In the Department of Management and Information Science, students learn about business management, public management, distribution management and sports business, and develop practical business skills.
The department cultivates human resources who can be business leaders at companies in various fields and in local communities, and who can immediately set to work on the front lines of society.
Business Management Course
This course develops problem-solving businesspersons who can step in as immediate assets at companies and other organizations. This is achieved through mastery of knowledge in the area of management science, and practical learning based on partnerships with local industry.
Distribution Management Course
Public and Regional Management Course
Through learning about policy planning/formulation and public management to meet local needs, this course develops individuals who can contribute to local communities, primarily as public employees or staff at nonprofit organizations.

E-Business Course
The modern world is supported by e-business, and companies use the Internet to carry out all their business with consumers and other companies. This course develops individuals who can engage in this new and diversifying form of business--through study of information and communication technology, and analysis of big data.
Media Design Course
Students in this course learn effective methods of content distribution suited to each type of media--such as broadcasting or Internet communication--as well as production technologies for video, digital music and other media with strong appeal. In this way, we develop graduates who can lead the PR strategies essential for business and regional revitalization.
Information Systems Course
Information systems are the foundation supporting all types of business, and critical strategies are deployed on information systems. In this course, we develop people who can build and use effective systems.
